Judge LarsonBorn and raised in the Akron, Judge Jerry Larson is committed to the future of our community. A graduate of Firestone High School and The University of Akron, he has also been involved in several community organizations such as Board of Trustees for the Community AIDS Network, the Phi Delta Theta Scholarship Committee, he was a MADD Red Ribbon Award Winner and is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. In addition, Judge Larson is also a Certified Instructor for Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy and a Certified Instructor for the Office of the Attorney General.

Judge Larson has served the City of Akron for nearly 20 years in various capacities including Criminal Prosecutor/Assistant Director of Law (8 years), Police Legal Advisor (8 years), and Chief Assistant Prosecutor (2 years). Judge Larson currently serves as a Municipal Court Judge. He is a strong proponent of Specialty Courts, including a new Veteran’s Court.
